IWA YWP Canada is hosting a panel discussion in the scope of 56th CENTRAL Canadian Symposium on Water Quality Research.

The goal of this panel discussion is to learn from the wastewater leaders in Canada’s Central region about the effects of COVID19 Pandemic on wastewater facilities. These effects could include changes in the quality and quantity of the wastewater, or operation challenges during the pandemic as well as challenges concerning the safety of workers in the facilities. We will hear how different cities in the central region have encountered and are tackling these problems, and how they have adapted lessons learned into future plans.
