In our first episode, we are privilege to have Dr. Glen Daigger! Dr. Daigger is a Professor of Engineering Practice at the University of Michigan and the President and Founder of One Water Solutions, an engineering and innovation firm. He served as President of the International Water Association from 2010 to 2014 and is a member of the US National Academy of Engineering. Dr. Daigger is also a member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering. Glen has held prominent academic and leadership roles, including serving as Professor and Chair of Environmental Systems Engineering at Clemson University.
With over 35 years of experience, Glen is an internationally recognized expert in wastewater treatment and water quality management, particularly in biological processes. He has authored or co-authored more than 200 technical papers, four books, and several technical manuals. Glen has also held senior roles at the Water Environment Federation, the American Academy of Environmental Engineers, and the Water Environment Research Foundation. His research has significantly advanced technologies and practices in environmental engineering, including wastewater nutrient removal, treatment process optimization, and the control of activated sludge issues.
